On Saturday we invited a bunch of kids to the office. We were playing around with Drawdio's, the Koala, cookies, and toy's the whole day.

The kids really liked the Koala, especially the good ol' "smoke demo".

Miguel is working on a Multi-Touch Air Hockey game. We showed our first prototype to some of our dear coworkers this afternoon, and they seemed to like it a lot : ) But then again, who doesn't like air hockey?

The application uses Touchlib and OpenGL just like the Ball Physics demonstration in the previous post.

Here's a little video of Miguel and Junhee in action.

Last week Miguel joined our team here at IMG512. He’s Portuguese, but more importantly a senior software developer with much needed 3D programming skills. Since he arrived he’s been working on software for the Koala Multi Touch platform, integrating Touchlib and OpenGL. He already made some really nice looking test applications and yesterday he started working on our first game for the Koala.

Here is a little video

In late January we are having our second Emergent Soundscape Event. This time we decided to bring twenty Drawdio’s to a kindergarten here in Seoul.

We made the Drawdio’s as loud as possible and we hope our little friends will create an awful lot of noise during the event.

Oh, and this would be our logo if it was 1992 and we were a bunch of game programmers making games for Neo Geo :)

When Junhee saw this he came to think of a really early project called Fortune Shaker. It's a mobile app that uses the camera to detect motion. The sound of the cracking cookie is just lovely... Enjoy!
